I own an existing home steps away from the beach. It is in good condition, however my dream has been to own a log home. Can I turn my existing home into a log home and How would I go about doing so?

      The city you are in the city you got big problems doing this but if any building codes and zoning laws would be violated if any building codes and zoning laws would be violated if any building codes and zoning laws would.

      I guess it would depend on your definition of a ‘log home’. If you wanted a true log home.. it would be hard to turn your current one into one, because the logs make up the walls, etc etc.. I would think that the best way for that is to start from scratch.

      If you just want the ‘look’ of a log home though, I am sure that there are many types of items on the market that would allow you to replace, for example, the siding with something that looks like logs, etc.. or is slice of logs, making it appear to be whole logs, etc..

      If you can afford it though, and you love log homes, I would suggest going the route of building it from scratch.. just the way that you want it.

      That depends, are there any laws prohibiting you from building? Are you under any association at all?? If not contact your local county building laws.

      For luxury log siding if you want to do in this because work for luxury log cabin resort in pigeon forge.
