We have a 25 year old Norweigan scribe log home that has become a maintenance nightmare. We thought perhaps covering it with stucco might eliminate some of the inherent problems that log homes have (ie, bugs, mice, energy inefficiency, keeping the wood looking nice, dark interior etc….) Just need a change and my husband and I are very capable DIY’ers. We like the look of straw bale homes and thought it might be a similar process?
