i wonder, do people that buy log homes ever get sick of looking at wood?

i know when i go to somebody’s cottage or log home, i usually get sick and tired, after a day or two, of looking at wood, in their kitchen, living room, bathroom, bedrooms, etc…or could it be that i’m just too much of a city slicker, how about you?

I can’t imagine people really feeling too strongly either way. I’m not a log cabin dweller myself, but I figure they’re probably just as apathetic towards wood as we are plaster. Plus, one could easily paint it, so instead of wood, you’d see paint. I’ve never thought about it before.
